Hey friends!!
I guess it's finally time to post on here :) Our gap year has officially begun and our team is together in Orlando! Only one week in and it's already been such a sweet time. But before we talk about Orlando, let's catch up on this past summer...

God's done so much in the last few months. In May, I was asked to co-lead the gap year and after seeking the Lord about that opportunity, He showed me that that was His plan. I will admit, I felt honored but certainly not excited. I was burnt out from leading and couldn't imagine what leading a gap year would be like. I still don't, actually, but God's been faithful and given me so much peace about it all. Pictured is myself, my co-leader Micah, and our team coordinator Jill at our Team Leader training in June.
July and August were spent serving at Camp Hickory Hill and making memories with family before time to leave. Annnnd now we're finally in September!
Our team began training on Thursday and what a great time it’s been. We’ve already made so many memories - from a 20 hour road trip to movie nights, grocery shopping, pool time, tortilla challenges, Chick Fil A, sharing testimonies, and cramming all six of us into my Nissan Sentra. Pictured below is our team on day 1 of training at Cru Headquarters.

A couple things you can pray for...
Pray for unity among our team and that God would use this month in Orlando to continue to bring us closer together.
Pray for the training we’re receiving this month and for those speaking and preparing us for this year.
Pray for the homesickness we’re all feeling at times and that God would give each one of us peace as we transition from home.
Pray for Micah and I as we navigate how to lead a gap year and that God would be at the center of everything we do.
Pray for teammates Abby and Emily who still have support to finish raising and that God would provide the amounts that they need in His timing.
More to come soon...

Bai, this is stellar! I'm so proud of you for taking on this challenge--even though you feel burnt out. Jesus is your strength--and I'm definitely praying for strength and unity for all of you!
Praying for you right now, Bailee! I am so so excited for all God has for you! Trust Him always. His plans are hardly ever what we would expect, but His ways are ALWAYS best.
